Jason has a keen interest in all types of motorsport, and he is now entering the Karting arena with the next McKenzie generation at the wheel of a cadet kart - his son Ronan.

Based in Northamptonshire, McKenzie Racing is a team run by Jason McKenzie, whose family connections with motorsport can be traced back to the sixties.
During the sixties, his father Norman McKenzie assisted in the engine building and preperation of Andy Webb's 1967 World Final winning BriSCA Formula 2 stock car, and continued as mechanic through to the eighties. It was the early eighties when Normans attention turned to MiniStox with Jason helping out in the pits. Norman brought the first ever centre seated MiniStox to the track, complete with another race winning engine.
Jason raced successfully in MiniStox at Superstar grade during the late eighties, picking up many trophies, and competed in BriSCA Formula 2 during 2002.
