12 year old Kart Driver Ronan McKenzie has been competing in Karting since the age of 8, and is achieving great results in the Easykart Cadet Kart formula (in which several F1 drivers started their careers).

2009 Easykart E plate Open Champion, Ronan is also the 2010 Easykart UK Champion - the Championship takes the best 7 results from 8 rounds and Ronan was the only Cadet driver to have achieved a podium finish in every counted round, including two wins, to take the Championship. Ronan is also the youngest UK Champion to date.

Ronan is in his second year Under Option with major Italian kart manufacturer Birel - one of only 13 drivers in the world participating in their Easykart Driver Program for talented young drivers.

Ronan has graduated to the Easykart 100cc Junior class in 2011 and dominated the first round of the UK Championship winning the Heat, Pre-Final and Final after also qualifying Pole in a stunning debut. 

His ultimate goal is to race in Formula One like his heroes Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
